On December 12, 2019, the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum will open their doors to the public. The completed exhibits will feature the most comprehensive collection of gems and minerals unearthed in Maine and the world’s rarest displays of space rocks featuring the Stifler Collection of Meteorites-including the largest piece of the Moon known to exist on Earth.
