PFAS: Technical Considerations and Case Studies with Keith R. Taylor

May 12 | 6:00pm

PFAS is a family of chemicals that have been in the headlines across the country due to the discovery of them just about everywhere, their persistence in the environment, and their potential health hazards. Here in Maine, the primary source has been the decades of biosolid (septic sludge) spreading on farm fields that have contaminated hundreds of private wells. This presentation will present some chemistry basics, Maine regulatory guidelines, and several case studies.
