Calling all curious kiddos!
Join MMGM’s Deb Johnson for a playful, hands-on story hour all about rocks. We’ll read “Old Rock (is Not Boring)” by Deb Pilutti and meet some of Maine’s very own “old rocks.” Then we’ll time-travel to the 1970s trend and create our very own pet rocks to take home.
What to expect
- Read-aloud: Old Rock (is Not Boring) by Deb Pilutti
- Maine rock show-and-tell: touch, look, and wonder
- Pet rock craft + coloring/puzzles
- Short, lively program designed for ages 3–5 and their grown-ups
