The Big Find: A Legend Continues
In October of 1972, one of the largest and most significant gem tourmaline finds in North American history occurred in the mountains of western Maine. This discovery created – and still creates – ripples in the American gemstone industry.
This fall, twelve artists from across the country were chosen to create one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry from exquisite Big Find gems, which will be showcased at the MMGM in October of 2022.
