Currently, the MMGM Store works with 15 different artists who incorporate Maine mined gemstones into their jewelry. We have welcomed several new jewelry artists into the MMGM Store and would like to introduce two artists this month.
Designing and handcrafting jewelry since 2000, Marie Chantal Nadeau draws her inspiration from the gorgeous environment around her. Based out of the Puntarenas province of Costa Rica, she is surrounded by cloud forest reserves. Highly biodiverse, these forests host thousands of species of flora and fauna which translates into fluid lines and delicate texturing in Marie’s work elegantly mimicking the surroundings.
Hailing from Denver, CO, Alex Boyd has a distinct sense of style. Barbra happened upon his studio while attending the Denver Mineral Show in 2017. Using oxidized sterling silver and 14K yellow gold, he believes his pieces bestow the wearer with unique powers. While we can’t guarantee any specific powers, Alex’s pieces are certainly fantastic!
