What to Expect:
- Free Identification: MMGM Experimental Chemist & Researcher Al “Owl” Falster will be on site to identify up to 3 specimens per person.
- Hands-On Learning: Whether it’s quartz from your backyard or a mysterious stone from your travels, Owl will help you crack the case.
- Meet the Expert: Owl is a world-renowned pegmatite researcher who has worked from Brazil to Namibia, described new minerals, and co-authored numerous scientific papers. Now, he’s ready to share his expertise with YOU!
