From 11 AM – 2 PM, join NASA Solar System Ambassador and 2024 Maine Astronomer of the Year, Jon Wallace, for an unforgettable deep-space adventure… right here on Earth!

🪐 Jon has found over 400 micrometeorites (including 30 in Bethel!) and will be onsite to:
Lead informal tours
Teach you how to find real micrometeorites in your own backyard
Share amazing images and stories behind these tiny space travelers
Highlight our Maine micrometeorites exhibit, featuring Jon’s discoveries!

This is your chance to learn how to uncover real space dust, explore the Discovery Gallery, and connect with fellow stargazers and rockhounds. Whether you’re a curious kid, a science-loving adult, or just someone who falls for space rocks, there’s something for everyone!
