- July 9, 2 p.m. Gr 3 & up | STEaM: Granite & Building Bridges
Can you identify granite? Learn about why famous Maine Quarries are now swimming holes. Test your engineering skills with some sweet building blocks that may (or may not) form an arch.

“How to Catch a Dinosaur,” by Adam Wallace. Everyone wants to catch a T Rex! Look at some real fossils and make a simple “fake” fossil to bring home.

In this session you will meet the woman who identified the first pterodactyl. Wait….did someone steal all of Maine’s dinosaur fossils? Make your own “fossil” to bring home and discover Pertica and Hairy-It!!
