The Maine Mineral & Gem Museum is excited to partner with the Zadoc Long Free Library for a summer series of STEAM activities!
We’re capping off our summer story and activities sessions with a theme that is truly out of this world. Margaret & the Moon by Dean Robbins is the story choice for this day’s theme. Participants can expect a presentation about the solar system, and have the chance to hold a real lunar meteorite.
Our final activity is painting a tin foil moon using glitter made from Muscovite mica.
