The Maine Mineral & Gem Museum is excited to partner with the Norway Memorial Library for a summer series of STEAM activities!
Landscapes are the topic for this day! The stories for this theme are Little Houses by Kevin Henkes, and A Day for Sand Castles by JonArno Lawson. You’ll also get a chance to view grains of sand and salt crystals under a microscope!
The activity for the landscape sessions is your own painting of a beach landscape, that uses real sand and salt crystals!
