Stones to Stardust Exclusive Tours are on Saturdays and Mondays, one hour before regular museum hours.
These small-group guided tours are led by one of our knowledgeable guides and provide a closer look at Maine’s minerals and gemstones, along with our world-renowned meteorite collection, including Moon and Mars rocks. It’s an excellent option for families, visiting friends, or anyone looking for a more personal museum experience.
Your tour also includes general admission to the museum for the rest of the day, so you can continue exploring at your own pace after the guided experience.
Minimum of 3 registered attendees required. Tours with fewer than 3 participants may be canceled at the discretion of the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum.
